Some pictures of camp. We went to Branson, MO with the rest of the youth. Mom and Dad went as chaperons. It was really fun! We left earlier then all the rest of the group and stayed at the Hastings' for a while. Then we joined the rest of the group at the hotel we stayed at. Kristian Stanfill led the worship, and Francis Chan taught. He was the best ever. You have to look into listening to him sometime. Or read his book: Crazy Love. It's really good. But we had fun. We also went Silver Dollar City, and one of the malls in Branson. We all learned so much. I learned about control. Give it to God. All of it. I'm so glad I went. The whole family. It was fun going as a family. Wait, I forgot to add that later I'll add pictures of the MAZI Ball on here. I'll explain all about later when I blog it. And we had 7 chicks hatch. I'll add some pictures of them later too.
Welcome to our ranch - Alydar Stables. It includes our family of 5 plus 4 dogs, our barn cat - Brutus, our quarter horse mare - Cleopatra, Kayla's Shorthorn show heifer, 2 lambs; and 42 chickens. We love growing, learning, & glorifying God! Come join us.

Hagestings! :)
Before I did Student Life, I couldn't pass up putting pictures of my best friends on here! We stopped there for 2 days before going to camp. I love going there! :)) We always have so much fun. Their church is so nice, and playing games with them all the time is a blast.

Denver part 3 and last
Columbine High School quickly put life in perspective. It was sobering. And I'm very glad I went. If you're ever around, you should go. It definitely made my thinking wheels start turning. Pike's Peak was absolutely wonderful. It was kind of disappointing in the part that it was a 3 hour round trip, and we were only there for 20 minutes, but it was wonderful. Beautiful. You have to go. I'm telling you. I've told you to go to a billion places, but I wasn't kidding about any of them! And Garden of the Gods was fun! A lot of us climbed part of the rocks. We really thought we could, because there was a path leading to it, and we saw other people doing it. We got super de duper high. It was, what's a new word, incredible... fantastic. Don't you love Roget's Thesaurus? Well, we got really high, and the view was astonishing. Then some staff from there told us that only professionals could climb the rock. So we left. But it was the most fun I had had in a long time. So that's about it. There you go. I'll try to update the Student Life pictures soon. But whenever I say that, I don't ever do anything for a while. I'm trying though.

Mission Denver Part 1
Here is the first of several posts for our trip to Denver. We (Mom, Erica, and I) went there with our youth choir for a week in late June/early July. It was lots of fun! We did Bible Clubs (mini vbs) in the mornings at 3 different parks, and we did block parties and sang in the evenings. On Thursday we went to 2 different homeless shelters. These are just pictures of Sunday and Monday. The pictures of music is Erica's location. All 70 of us split up into 3 different groups for 3 different parks, and I was in a different place than Mom and Erica. And "Everyone Wins" is at the block party at their park. Sorry if that's confusing. Denver was the best ever! :)

Having Fun
Erica's graduation party
Well, these are kinda late, but I haven't been blogging for a while. It'll take quite a few blogs to catch y'all up to date. But these are pictures of Erica's graduation party. It was really fun. A great big THANK YOU goes out to everyone who helped us celebrate Erica's success. We ate for a little while. Then a whole bunch of us went out to the pasture and rode Cleo and chased chicks. We really enjoyed it. Erica is going to Lamar this fall. I don't know what else there is to say. I'll probably keep blogging for a while.
