Here are Kayla's 3 week old soccer pictures, from her game on October 24th. I have not been blogging lately, so sorry. She had a fun time, and was even goalie for the first half. The team did really well, and won 9-6. One of her teammates, Lee, was scoring a whole bunch of points, so Kayla's team was ahead by 5. Kayla's coach lent the other team Lee, who scored 3 points for the other team. It was funny for all of us. Saturday is Kayla's last fall soccer game, and she's really sad about it. She can't wait for spring season though. Y'all should come watch her play her last game! :)

Erica's good news

Erica & I just got back from Houston from Erica's lymphedema doctor, Dr. Maus. This is her first checkup in 6 months. We are celebrating and praising God for her good report! So I hope all of you will rejoice with us. We are very excited. Thanks again for all your prayers and concerns and please don't stop. Much love, Shelly

Kayla's soccer game

Well, today was the championship game between the 2 top teams of her league. Kayla's team won!!!!! She has been playing goalie.....not what she prefers but she is doing well. We are very excited and celebrating her win. No pics for you to enjoy. :(

So I really like this one of Erica! :)

Here are more of Cream. She is so perfect for pictures. But I'm sure she's doubled in size since she was first born, and it's really scary. She is a trouble maker, sneaking into the barn, and never wanting to get her hooves wet, even though our house is a mud hole. She's really funny.

Here are some more pictures of Cream. I can't help myself. Practically every time we go out to see the animals I take the camera and end up with lots of pictures. I love it!! But I do delete most of them. Just to let you know. Here are a couple cute ones that I really liked. Cream is growing up so fast. Sniff, sniff.

Well, Cookie finally had her baby last Tuesday, October 13th. She is a week old and I thought we would never be done waiting! She had her about noon - it was hard to do much of anything else that day! or that week for that matter. We have just been enjoying having something so sweet and new around the house. She sounds so sweet when she calls for her mama - wish I could get that sound on here for you. :) Well, hope you enjoy the pics as much as we are enjoying her.

A "different" Anniversary

Well, every year Bret & I celebrate the day he asked me to marry him.......and today it has now been 22 years ago! It is a fun thing to remember & celebrate......the kids think it is funny also. :)

Yay! Our new chicks that aren't cute anymore. They were for a while, but right now they lost all their down and have awkward feathers, and too long legs. They stink, too. Don't you love them?

Pics from Kayla's soccer game Saturday

Kayla played this soccer game @ noon last Saturday. It was tied for most of the game; but in the last few minutes they scored again. So the final was 6 - 5. It was a well-fought game and we enjoyed it.......except for the heat.
